University life

University life at St. Lawrence University became the most defining moment of her life as it built a base for her career in journalism. She was pursuing a Bachelor’s in Political Science and developing a very active interest in current events and communication. Her campus activities included the student-run radio station, where she honed her skills in public speaking and media. This early exposure to broadcasting, with emphasis on her academic experience, has equipped her with the sense of dissecting complex topics and presenting them in an exemplary manner. MacCallum’s university experience, for instance, molded not only her professional aspirations but also equipped her with confidence, tools, and ammunition to successfully navigate through the challenge and complexity associated with journalism.
